Angie is a practicum student from City University, Calgary campus. She is kind, compassionate, and empathetic when working with others and uses an integrative approach to therapy, depending on what works best for her clients.
Angie enjoys working with people on a variety of struggles, including anxiety, depression, work-related stresses, acculturation concerns, bicultural identity development, and communication difficulties. She enjoys working with people who straddle more than one culture, feel overwhelmed by differing expectations, or struggle to bridge cultural or generational differences in their relationships.
Angie will work with you to identify and deconstruct the stories that may contribute to your struggles and empower you to re-author your story to highlight your innate strengths and resilience.
Angie’s approach is integrative, multicultural, and trauma-informed. She uses a person-centred framework to explore what healing looks like for you. Together, you will explore how various aspects of your identity contribute to your self-concept, relationships, and career pursuits.
